This artwork is from an orignal painting by Hector Cademartori called The Last Race. It was commissioned by the Elkhart Lake Historic Race Circuit Preservation Society to commemorate the last race held in 1952 on the roads around Elkhart Lake. The circuit took drivers around Elkhart Lake and through rolling countryside, with a Start/Finish Line in the village of Elkhart Lake.
